History of the KBS website

This page presents an overview of the KBS website's history. Major changes and additions will be listed here.


July, 2004	Website moved to a different server. As a result some pages may be displayed wrong and some links may be broken but we're working on this. Also the ftp server has been abandoned. All documents are going to be made available via the new webserver.

Januari 13, 2004	Altered styles and colors to better reflect the new Delft University of Technology house style.

July 17, 2003	Added a search page and included this in the menu

February 2002	Revision of the Research section.

January 2002	Major revision of the Publications section and the documents on the ftp server. Many papers have been added.

November 2001	After quite some time of inactivity the website is now updated by a second webmaster


4 November 1999	I added online proceedings of Workshop in Interactive Dialogue in Multi-Modal Systems.

27 October 1999	Online conference proceedings of Eurospeech'97.
26 October 1999	Online conference proceedings of ICSLP'98 and Eurospeech'99.

13 August 1999	Documentation for JavaScript has been added to our Documentation site. The documentation consists of several parts: Server-Side JavaScript 1.2 ( Guide, Reference), Client-Side JavaScript 1.3 ( Guide, Reference), and Core JavaScript 1.4 ( Guide, Reference).

22 June 1999	Documentation for teTex and LaTeX was added. The Staff page was also updated.

17 May 1999	Documentation for Berkeley Data Base was added.
12 May 1999	A conference directory was added to the list of publications.
11 May 1999	Publications of the group can now be found on a central location. For the moment, only technical reports and M.Sc. Theses are available. If you find any information missing, email me.
10 May 1999	General contact information and a description of email addresses was added here.

26 April 1999	Documentation for Prolog was addes as well as some Unix help pages.
13 April 1999	Documentation was added for OSE 5.2.
9 April 1999	Documentation was added for Oracle 7, ANTLER, OSE 4.3, OSE 6.0, and LaTeX.

1 March 1999	A documentation page was added, listing all by www available documentation.

25 February 1999	Documentation was also added for postgres.
19 February 1999	Software documentation was added to the KBS website. For now, documentation is available for the apache server, java and a java tutorial. There are no access restrictions for now, but access will be restricted when exessive use is noticed.
16 February 1999	The KBS site is getting into shape. Although there are pages to fix or even write, the structure of our website has been created.

11 January 1999	KBS will host another Athens international course! The topic will be "The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Speech Processing" and it will be held in the period of March 15-19 1999.
6 January 1999	I created two pages: a calendar, listing future events occurring at our group, and a history page, which is actually this page.
