Abstract

This report describes the implementation of the task coordinator and the protocols deployed in this implementation. After presenting some background information on the Alparon project, the problem definition and general design of the task coordinator are presented. Then, four protocols are presented: the Data Messaging Protocol (DMP), Portmapper Management Protocol (PMP), Module Management Protocol (MMP), and Logging Protocol (LP). Finally, some implementation aspects are discussed, followed by a concluding chapter.
