java.awt.LayoutManager2

Packages that use LayoutManager2
java.awt Contains all of the classes for creating user interfaces and for painting graphics and images. 
javax.swing Provides a set of "lightweight" (all-Java language) components that, to the maximum degree possible, work the same on all platforms. 
javax.swing.plaf.basic Provides user interface objects built according to the Basic look and feel.

 class BorderLayout
          A border layout lays out a container, arranging and resizing its components to fit in five regions: north, south, east, west, and center.

          The GridBagLayout class is a flexible layout manager that aligns components vertically and horizontally, without requiring that the components be of the same size.
