Eyebrow Contour Recognition

This report is result of research at Delft University
of Technology (faculty of Technical Mathematics and Informatics) lasting
from 2nd of July till 15th of August 1997. The project
has been made possible due to long time cooperation between Czech Technical
University and TU Delft.
The goal of this project is to find contour of an
eyebrow on a picture of human face. Obtained information will be used in
large scale project of Automated Recognition of Facial Expressions (ARFE).
Many subtasks of ARFE project were already solved, e.g. mouth segmentation,
nostrils and chin segmentation and extraction of eye features. Eyebrow
contour is the last part of the project, however it carries one of the
most valuable information about facial expression.
