Recognition of Basic Facial Expressions by Neural Network

In the order to developed communication between
machine and human being, we have been investigating the recognition of
human emotions by the way computer recognition of patterns on human face
and then recognition of emotion using by learned neural network.
In this paper we try to show the method of human
emotion recognition from facial expressions by neural network. we categorise
facial expressions, as shows international criteria, into 6 groups (Happiness,
Sadness, Surprise, Fear, Disgust and Anger). In ever face we can find some
essential points, where are used as inputs for input layer of neural network.
Learning process is done by back propagation algorithm.
