Project description

Short description

The project is aimed to offer a powerfull platform independent environment for advanced A.I. enhanced data signal processing on multimedia. It also provides full capabilities for easily integrating further standalone and group projects run in our department. It includes some parts of a previous project called I.S.F.E.R and developed at T.U.Delft, K.B.S. Department and also different modules built by various people, researchers, students, etc. during a long period of time. A names list of persons that contributed over the time may be consulted. An additional goal for the near future of the project is that to provide a base to a project of multimodal surveillance systems on public areas.

Contributions

The developing team encourages everybody to take part at the project by writing code or/and by providing logistic support so as to get to better overall solutions. Among other features, the product offers a very stable programming language that is pretty simillar to the C language, remote processing and an efficient GarbageCollection Memory Manager. This is supposed to encourage people to easily write their own programs directly on this tool.

Research

In the same time with the task of implementing the A.I.D.P.Toolkit, other activities that relate to research on data signal processing are run. If worths, the results are about to be implemented as external modules/routines in the current project.

"How to" and tutorials

On site details on internal mechanisms can be found. Moreover, descriptions of current work stage on the project are listed.
