A reference for phonetic transcription of English words can be found in the document SpeechMania SAMPA for American English with a Dutch recognizer.
While the default account setup includes all necessary parameter files, the files necessary for the assignment are also available separately in zipfile, sm-20030314.zip. They are up-to-date for SpeechMania 2.2 as set up on the Computer Graphics NT network. Unpack them in your home directory.
