Webmaster duties

Basically, mastering a webserver covers just one thing: administration. The webmaster takes care of correctly configuring and running the webserver, taking into account overall system security. Additionally, the webmaster organises the website of Knowledge Based Systems, i.e. the webmaster provides a structure in which relevant information can be provided.

The webmaster is never responsible for maintaining the individual pages available at the website, nor is he responsible for the information provided on these pages. If you want your information to become available at our website, do not expect the webmaster to write your HTML-code, CGI-scripts, JAVA-applets, etc. If you are experiencing problems writing webpages, you can always ask for information, especially when you need detailed information about the possibilities provided by our webserver.

As mentioned on the general information page, our website is administrated by me, Robert van Vark. However, if you want to mail me about the server or other web-based topics, you can best email to webmaster@kbs.twi.tudelft.nl.

This information covers general information about the Knowledge Based Systems group, information on the group's research projects and KBS group members. Master thesis students can also provide information at the KBS website.
